Nurse Manager - Surgery
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: Full benefits.
Description: One of our Clients is looking for Nurse Manager for Surgery Department in Kaufman, TX.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the direction of patient care in the operative environment;
• Accountable 24/7 for the overall staffing, operational, time and attendance, work flow and personnel performance;
• Consult with staff, physicians, and department Director on Nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies;
• Ensure optimal delivery of quality patient care within established standards of Texas Health Resources and the hospital.
Requirements:
• 5 years clinical nursing experience;
• 2 years experience in an increasingly responsible leadership position;
• Current RN licensure that allows practice in the state of Texas;
• Experience with Microsoft WORD and Excel, knowledge of AORN and AAMI Standards;
• Knowledge of Horizon Surgical Manager and EPIC is a plus;
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing at the Bachelor's Degree Level.
