Web 2.0 Lead Developer
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: Health Care and Benefits Available.
Description: Our Client, a global leader in measurement and information, is currently looking for a Web 2.0 Lead Architect.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and architecture of large, complex enterprise applications;
• Function as a team leader, providing direction to members of the development team including oversight and guidance to offshore teams;
• Collaborate with others (Enterprise Architects, DBAs, User Experience) in a matrix technology organization with the common goal of delivering value to the business;
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC;
• Help determine how best technology can be applied to meet business needs;
• Application of analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex design and coding problems;
• Help develop project plans including estimates for the entire life cycle of the project.
Requirements:
• Experience developing .Net and/or Java/J2EE applications (7 years);
• Experience leading analysis, design and architecture of web-based application (3+ years);
• Design and development experience with Adobe Flex (UX) and Flex Builder (2+ years);
• Development experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks, iProcess, and other messaging middleware tools (2+ years);
• Experience using Web Services technologies (SOAP, UDDI, WSDL, XSD, XPATH, XSLT);
• Experience designing and implementing large enterprise scale 3rd party platforms (Ex: CRM, ERP);
• Experience with software version control/configuration management tools;
• Experience with open source frameworks and tools;
• Sound understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL and/or Oracle;
• Architect experience with multi-tier, highly available, scalable, performance-oriented geographically distributed environments;
• Experience with survey based research technologies (preferred);
• Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt;
• BA/BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent); MS desirable;
• US Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
