Product Quality Engineer
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site with frequent travels.
Additional Information: Full Benefits.
Description: Our Client is a leading global distributor of dental supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and support servers, PCs, support hardware and software during the production and configuration phases;
• Monitore product quality;
• Define the methods and equipment used to measure key quality characteristics of a process;
• Cooperate with product management to test and engineer new solutions to meet quality standards;
• Review product spec sheets and technical characteristics of marketing materials;
• Participate in the pre-configuration of networks for field installation;
• Train the internal production staff in updated work instructions and procedures related to the above activities.
Requirements:
• Experience with VBScript, DOS Scripting and command line, Sysprep Answer File;
• Experience with SQL Scripts (for SQL server jobs) and Microsoft Group Policy;
• Experience with server software: Backup Software (Veritas and Retrospect Preferred), SQL Server 2005 and 2008, Advanced Client / Server Applications, Dell Silverback / Promanage;
• Bachelor's Degree.
