IBM Websphere Analyst
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time.
Additional Information: Full Benefits.
Description: Our Client is a large conglomerate that brings together innovative imaging and laboratory diagnostic equipment, information technology, management consulting and services to help customers achieve positive and sustainable clinical and financial outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and analyse IBM Websphere related issues for clinical and financial applications;
• Cooperate with the application and technology stakeholders to facilitate problem resolution and product improvements in the Websphere architecture and interfacing applications;
• Provide platform, systems and database support for all Wintel products;
• Participate in intermittent after-hours and weekend work, such as break/fix problem determination.
Requirements:
• Experience with IBM Websphere or equivalent experience in other JAVA container products (e.g. WebLogic, JBoss) 2-3 years;
• Experience with multiple platforms including Windows, AIX, iSeries, and Linux;
• Experience with server related issues such as performance, MS Clustering, Active Directory;
• Experience with CA Wily Introscope(r) and Storage Area Network (SAN) is a plus;
• General networking expertise;
• BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and industry/technology experience.
