PHP Web Developer
Est. duration of the 1st stage: 3-4 months.
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: full benefits (when on perm).
Description: Our Client is currently looking for a PHP Web Designer.

Responsibilities:
• Design and construct web pages/sites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques;
• Maintain and provide ongoing design of the website;
• Interview clients to help them clarify goals;
• Design digitized images, banners, bullets, charts, image maps and other graphics to enhance appearance of site;
• Apply knowledge of programming techniques and computer internet systems;
• Custom tailor a plan for site using combination of graphic and written material, and modify proposal as necessary;
• Write, or edit and format, copy to present message effectively;
• Design screen displays to accomplish goals of site;
• Provide specifications, using flowcharts and diagrams, into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language that can be processed by computer;
• Convert project specifications into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language that can be processed by computer, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages;
• Apply knowledge of database design standards and database management;
• Program, run and test programs;
• Determine if project requires new programs or modifying existing programs that access data stored in databases;
• Replace, delete, or modify codes to correct errors;
• Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections;
• Assist in solving operating problems with site;
• Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn ways to develop programs;
• Manage version control s/w including test to production promotion model;
• Modify/compile underlying system components (e.g. Apache);
• Design and implement new databases.
Requirements:
• Internet/Intranet;
• UNIX exp w/ Linux;
• JavaScript, DHTML, Object Oriented exp., AJAX;
• PHP 5.x;
• Background Scripts;
• Development using DB Access and write JavaScript’s;
• LAMP and PDF.Lib (a plus);
• US Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
