Business Analyst
Duration: 6-12 months.
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Description: Our Client, a financial organization, is looking for an experienced Business Analys.
Responsibilities:
• Provide both strategic and detailed support to the Project Manager on significant projects and initiatives;
• Provide additional leadership in support of Project Manager and various projects;
• Analyze and define user requirements in order to develop design documents that meet the strategic information requirements of the Business Unit;
• Document detailed, functional business descriptions of system deficiencies, user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop and / or modify business-related technology systems;
• Translate business needs into design documents and specifications;
• Define or modify procedures to solve system issues considering computer software’s capacity, software limitations, and desired results;
• Prepare detailed specifications from which vendor can program application solution. Analyze cross-functional requirements and interrelationships of system modules to identify dependencies and potential issues.
Requirements:
• Business Analysis experience (6+ years);
• Experience in banking sector;
• Experience with Commercial Lending;
• Understanding of basic programming, software development lifecycle, SQL and database structures and theory, programming tools including Visual Basic, Oracle, Toad, Microsoft Office products, SharePoint;
• Experience with Loan Origination Systems preferred (Experian, Moody’s);
• Experience with Harland Financial Products such as Decision Pro or Laser Pro preferred;
• Strong understanding of Project Management concepts and project management methodologies;
• Ability to interact with various levels of Management across the organization;
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT systems training and hands-on experience.
