Sybase IQ Consultant
Duration: 1-6 months.
Onsite: On location at the Client s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: Relocation Assistance Available.
Description: Our Client is the leading database consulting firm in the industry of information management and database technology. The Client offers specialized database consulting services and world-class database performance tools. Their services portfolio embrace end-to-end solutions including: performance based architecture design, database performance audits and tuning, training, staffing services and custom database projects.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for performance, tuning, deployment and support of Sybase IQ;
• Responsible for maintaining the database environment on Sybase IQ server;
• Responsible for data warehouse implementation and design;
• Responsible for database administration;
• Responsible for BI and data analysis.
Requirements:
• Experience with Sybase IQ 15.x and/or IQ 12.x (5+ years);
• Experience with administering Sybase IQ 12.6 for the Data Warehouse;
• Experience with designing and implementing Data Warehouse;
• Experience in DBA;
• Experience with BI;
• Experience in developing, tuning and implementing Sybase IQ;
• Experience with Sybase IQ servers performance;
• US Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
