Java Developer
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: Health Care and Benefits Available.
Description: Our Client is looking for a Java Developer.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement world class REST APIs;
• Build highly scalable, extensible platforms and applications;
• Collaborate with Product Management and Development team members on technical design and problem solving to come up with compelling solutions to problems;
• Use a pragmatic Test Driven Development approach in developing high quality software that doesn't need to be assured by a QA team before it's deployed to production;
• Own all aspects of implementation for features from design to development, deployment to production, and support and maintenance.
Requirements:
• Experience developing commercial software in Java (5+ years);
• Experience with Java development with Server-side web technologies (Spring, JPA, Hibernate, Lucene, Solr, etc.);
• Experience with RDBMS such as MySQL, Oracle or MS SQL Server;
• Experience working on teams using agile development techniques;
• Bachelor's in engineering / science or equivalent.
