Web Project Manager
Est. duration of the 1st stage: 6 months.
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.

Description: Our Client, a public real-estate and timeshare resort developer, is looking for a Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize and manage IT projects from scoping phase to implementation;
• Lead and direct cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of quality, scope, schedule and budget;
• Develop detailed status reports and summarized executive updates;
• Ensure alignment of project objectives and business needs with the project sponsors;
• Manage work requests from business partners;
• Work with Application Development teams in resolving existing system and/or project related issues;
• Develop and manage issues, actions items, change control and communication plans;
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls;
• Negotiate resolutions to project issues where cost, schedule, scope or quality are at risk;
• Monitor project budget against actual costs incurred;
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure vendors deliver according to plan;
• Ensure development managers are informed of the required resource needs for successful project delivery;
• Track project metrics (SPI, CPI, requirements exposure, quality control, etc) to effectively manage scope, cost, quality and the schedule.
Requirements:
• Experience as a Project Manager (4+ years);
• Experience with Functional Specification Documentation (Use Case Specifications, Use Case Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams);
• Experience with Business Requirements Gathering;
• Experience with Project Management Lifecycle;
• Experience with Traditional & Agile PM Methodologies;
• Experience managing Enterprise projects;
• Experience with Risk & Issue Planning (Identification, Mitigation, Resolution);
• Experience with Project Scope / Change Control;
• Experience in Vendor & Partner Relationship Management;
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
• Experience with Database Concepts;
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio);
• Experience with SQL / Query Tools (preferred);
• Experience with Travel & Hospitality industry (preferred);
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred);
• Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or related field;
• US Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
