Quality Assurance Analyst

Est. duration of the 1st stage: 4 months (+2x1 year extensions).

Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.

Description: Our Client, a government agency, is currently looking for Quality Assurance Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the program requirements and project goals and using that understanding to produce project deliverables;
• Planning testing activities and producing test plans and test scripts;
• Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics;
• Executing and documenting results of test activities;
• Testing all aspects of the solution and environment to ensure the security and integrity of confidential data;
• Ensuring technical direction and standards are being followed;
• Coordinating technical resources from multiple organizations to integrate into the Department’s portal and single sign-on solution;
• Providing technical assistance to local education agency technology staff to provide single sign-on access to the Department’s resources via live presentations, webinars, conference calls, and other meetings;
• Scheduling and coordinating all related details for technical assistance, training, or other types of presentations to local education agencies;
• Preparing and presenting materials and information about integrating into the Department’s portal and single sign-on solution;
• Collecting business and technical requirements by completing independent research, and participating in informal, small group meetings, and large, formal sessions;
• Producing written deliverables including but not limited to meeting materials, requirements, specifications, design documents, and training and presentation materials;
• Actively participate in meetings or other project activities to produce project deliverables;
• Researching and maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies and possible application to the project/program.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience systems/network development and testing experience; experience should include testing of network and infrastructure components related to role-based access and infrastructure components that allow communication between organizations;
• 3+ years experience producing test plans and test scripts;
• 3+ years experience executing test scripts;
• 3+ years experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, design, process and data flow, testing, and training;
• 3+ years experience facilitating business and technical analysis, design, and planning meetings;
• 3+ years experience producing training and presentation materials;
• Technical knowledge of web, network infrastructure, network communication, and security;
• Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word;
• Candidate must be a team player with excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills;
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
