Project Manager
Est. duration of the 1st stage: 2 years.
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: Health Care and Benefits Available.
Description: Our Client, a government agency, is looking for a Project Manager for their new business implementation project.
Responsibilities:
• Manages project team made of healthcare administrators and healthcare providers and will be ultimately accountable for completion of project management responsibilities and for ensuring the project meets its primary objectives within budget;
• Leads the project team in creating an overall project plan;
• Manages project using standard project management tools and techniques including:
- Project tracking;
- Planning;
- Phase / document sign-off;
- Defining / executing project milestones;
- Identification and management of project issues/risks;
- Scheduling;
- Reporting;
• Serves as a liaison between project team and executive leadership;
• Coordinate with IT Project Manager for system modifications/implementations;
• Development/execution of communication and change management plan.
Requirements:
• Experience managing business initiatives implementations (5+ years);
• Strong leadership skills and experience;
• Customer-focused professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience in team-building and facilitating groups;
• Willingness to travel within the State of Georgia;
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred);
• Experience working with healthcare/hospital teams (preferred);
• Experience working with Government (preferred);
• Knowledge of CRIPA (preferred).
