Senior Data Warehouse Programmer
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Description: Our Client, a lead financial institution, is looking to hire Senior Data Warehouse Application Programmer.
Responsibilities:
• Support current needs in Data warehouse application development;
• Interface with the customers to understand their processes and requirements;
• Translate a set of requirements into computer source code using the software tools provided.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience working or consulting in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment and Application Programming;
• Experience with Informatica 9 / 8.6.1, Oracle 11G R2, Pl SQL, ETL;
• Experience with writing Shell scripts in Unix;
• Experience writing Technical Specification Documents and Business Requirements Documents;
• Experience mentoring a team;
• Experience with Reporting Tools, OBIEE, Hyperion (preferred);
• Experience with all phase of SDLC and in implementing staging, operation data stores (ODS) and dimensional data modeling (preferred);
• Banking/Financial Services industry knowledge is a plus;
• United States Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
