Finance System Specialist
Est. duration of the 1st stage: 4 months.
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: Health Care and Great Benefits Available.
Responsibilities:
• Provide IT support to the Finance department;
• Administer and maintain the Coda financial system;
• Assist with the implementation of Coda at other Company business units;
• Responsible for installation of version upgrades, system configuration, administration, security, capacity planning;
• Support Hyperion Essbase, Monarch Data Pump, and Chesapeake escheatment software;
• Provide 24x7 on-call support.
Requirements:
• Previous experience supporting Coda and Lawson;
• Experience as Great Plains Analyst and Administrator;
• Experience in application troubleshooting;
• Previous experience supporting production application in a 24x7 environment;
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server;
• Experience with Windows Server monitoring tools;
• Works efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce high quality material with meticulous attention to detail;
• Strong customer service orientation in both internal and external interactions, and looks for opportunities to provide the highest quality service;
• Anticipates, recognizes and resolves issues;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong organizing and analytical skills;
• Assists the finance team with better utilization of technical resources;
• Ability to work both independently and in team environments;
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent education and experience.
Desired Skills / Experience:
• Microsoft Certifications.
