Cisco Network Support Engineer
Est. duration: 1 year with guaranteed extension.
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: Health Care and Benefits Available.
Description: Our Client, a government agency, is looking for a Cisco Network Support Engineer.
Responsibilities:
• Support WAN / LAN for the Department;
• Provide Network security, update exiting PIX firewall configuration, add new rules and create new access list;
• Monitor performance and provide trouble shouting;
• Provide design solutions for updating and upgrading Network;
• Design and implement LAN topology, replace the existing Cisco switches;
• Create Network documentation.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience with WAN / LAN Network configuration;
• 5+ years of experience with Network Security, IPsec, PIX firewall configuration and support;
• 5+ years of experience with IP Telephony;
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco infrastructure hardware (switches, routers and wireless).
