Network / Infrastructure Manager
Est. duration of the 1st stage: 6 months+.
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: Full Benefits when on perm.
Description: Our Client, a government institution, is looking for a Network / Infrastructure Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Perform evaluations of existing systems and people;
• Make recommendations of how to upgrade systems and/or where to add key people in certain areas;
• Implement and follow through on those recommendations once approved;
• Work in Microsoft environment with 6 Network Administrators, and 4 DBA’s.
Environment:
• Microsoft environment (Windows, Active Directory, Exchange) with about 110-120 servers;
• SQL Server and Oracle databases (100-200 Terabytes);
• Cisco network equipment;
• Some Unix / Solaris;
• 4,200 end users.
Requirements:
• Experience with IT infrastructure (5+ years);
• Leadership experience (2+ years);
• Experience performing evaluations of IT Infrastructure;
• Experience with Active Directory, Exchange;
• Experience with Cisco network equipment;
• Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle;
• U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents only;
• Extensive background check (no felonies ever);
• Be a non-smoker.
