Systems Analyst

Est. duration of the 1st stage: 4 months.

Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Provide user requirement documents based on user requirements, user input and feedback;
• Provide Design documents as per user requirements, user input and feedback;
• Provide Screen presentations as per user requirements, user input and feedback;
• Provide research and analytical services for defects, enhancements and systems as they emerge;
• Meet with the program offices to collect user requirements for defects, and enhancements to the Health Management System;
• Facilitate the development of Requirements documentation;
• Facilitate development using object oriented design methodology;
• Document the object oriented design using the Unified Modeling Language and/or Flow Charts;
• Provide analytical services on system processes to identify operational efficiencies;
• Produce work estimates to implement analysis and testing functionality for Release Planning and Sprint Planning;
• Participate in Daily Stand-up meetings to give daily progress reports on the implementation of testing functionality;
• Provide support, software testing and quality assurance to ensure that the application meets user requirements;
• Track and report results, statistics and metrics;
• Provide research and analytical services for testing defects and enhancements.

Requirements:

• Experience as an analyst with the development of web-based applications (3+ years)
• Experience with object-oriented techniques (3+ years);
• Experience with the design and implementation of medical / billing software (2+ years);
• Experience in analysis, testing and flowcharting/unified modeling;
• Experience with Agile software development methodology (preferred);
• Experience with object–oriented design with the Rational toolset (preferred);
• Experience with HIPAA EDI standards and protocols (preferred);
• Experience with HIPAA Administrative Simplification Electronic Transactions and Code Sets (preferred);
• Experience with health applications (preferred);
• Experience with the development of web-based applications in an Intersystem’s Cache environment (preferred);
• Experience managing information technology projects (preferred);
• Experience with Third Party Billing practices; including Third Party insurances, Medicare and Medicaid (preferred);
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification (preferred);
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field;
• Ability to report for emergency duty.
