PeopleSoft Technical Team Lead
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Description: Our Client, a government agency is seeking a qualified PeopleSoft Technical Team Lead to join their Information Technology Division.
Responsibilities:
• Provide expert technical leadership for PeopleSoft technical support team;
• Lead a team in the day to day technical support of the PeopleSoft system and ongoing maintenance such as patches, upgrades, and user requested functionality;
• Define system scope and objectives for assigned projects;
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desire results;
• Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written;
• Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation;
• Direct and monitor work of team members;
• Responsible for performance reviews of team members.
Requirements:
• Technical team leadership and project management experience (3+ years);
• Oracle and PL / SQL experience, including SQL statement construction to enhance tuning within an Oracle database environment (3+ years);
• Experience developing complex SQL queries to identify data inconsistencies within PeopleSoft HRMS application tables;
• Experience with PeopleSoft administration and maintenance, technical and functional expertise in the following PeopleSoft modules: Human Resources, Base Benefits, Benefits Billing, Time and Labor, Payroll, Recruitment, Position Management and Security (1+ years);
• Experience with technical support of PeopleSoft 8.9 and PeopleSoft 9.1;
• Experience with troubleshooting utilizing Mercury Interactive WinRunner in a PeopleSoft HRMS application 3 tier environment and the ability to apply understanding relational databases, ER Diagrams and concepts of moralization;
• Experience with all phases of applications systems analysis and programming;
• Experience writing business, functional and technical requirements, providing analysis and troubleshooting;
• Experience with configuration management principles;
• Experience with online-transaction processing (OLTP) functionality;
• Experience with relational database schemata;
• Customer friendly, can-do attitude;
• BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or related field;
• U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
