Retail General Manager
Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Additional Information: Full benefits, Bonus, Interview Travel Reimbursed.
Description: Our Client, a charitable retail organization, is looking for a General Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a Retail Store;
• Maximize sales and revenues by providing superb leadership to a team and executes store operations within organizational guidelines;
• Provide quality customer service the Company’s mission.
Requirements:
• Retail experience as a store manager with discount store, high volume specialty store or primary managerial position in a department store or big box retailer;
• Experience with both hardline and softline product;
• Proficient in various software applications including Windows XP, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and using the Internet;
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize;
• Strong people management and coaching skills;
• Budgeting and cost analysis procedure expertise;
• POS and cash handling expertise in a retail setting;
• Associate of Arts or Science Degree + 8 years of Store Management experience;
OR
• Bachelors of Arts or Science Degree + 5 years of Store Management experience.
